Following yesterday’s meeting, Inter manager Antonio Conte and club management will have another meeting today or tomorrow in which they will establish a plan for the transfer window as well as plan for the season ahead according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Conte met with club management yesterday to discuss his future as the manager of the club and after several hours it was decided that the parties would continue together, a decision that has put an end to the rife speculation in the media in recent weeks.

The report explains that Inter president Steven Zhang is the biggest winner from yesterday’s meeting. Prior to the meeting which included the club management, Zhang met with Conte alone and this made a difference as Conte presented himself at yesterday’s meeting with an open mind.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that whilst it was decided both chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio would both also remain, there are some doubts over whether Ausilio actually will remain as he has receieved an offer from Roma to become their sporting director.
