Inter have not abandoned the idea of signing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

Inter manager Antonio Conte and the club are thinking big when it comes to the transfer window, especially when it comes to making additions to the midfield department.

One of the first names on the list is that of Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante but this report explains that Inter have not abandoned their long standing interest in the Spanish born Serbian national team player.

Dealing with Lazio president and owner Claudio Lotito will be far from easy but it could be possible that Inter insert a player as part payment into the negotiations in order to help a deal be reached, the report continues.

According to the report, a player who could be included to lower the cash part is Roberto Gagliardini, who has an affordable salary for a club like Lazio.
