Another group of death is likely for Inter in the upcoming edition of the Champions League according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter will be in the third of four pots for the group stage draw which will take place on October 1 in Athens, Greece, ahead of the tournament getting underway on October 20.

Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Porto, Zenit St Petersburg and Sevilla are all opponents who Inter could potentially draw from pot one.

Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Shakhtar Donetsk and one of Benfica and Ajax are meanwhile all potential opponents for Inter from pot two.

Despite the potential for another tricky group being there, Inter will still receieve €39 million for simply participating in the group stage of the competition regardless of whether they progress to the knockout stages or not.
