Newly promoted Spezia have joined the list of clubs in the race to sign Inter youngster Sebastiano Esposito according to a report from the online edition of Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Spezia will play in Serie A for the first time in their history in the 2020/21 season and are working on bolstering their squad accordingly.

Bologna, Parma, Genoa, Crotone and Udinese are all understood to be interested in signing the Italian youth national team player, who is widely expected to be allowed to leave Inter on loan in order to get more regular first team minutes, seomthing he certainly cannot be guaranteed at Inter.

During the recently concluded 2019/20 season, Esposito, who is a product of Inter’s youth academy, had a mini-first team breakthrough.

The recently turned 18-year-old, who is reportedly set to sign a contract extension with the club until 2025, made 14 first team appearances across all competitions, in which he scored a single goal.
