Inter have dropped their interest in signing Fiorentina attacker Federico Chiesa according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere Fiorentino.

Inter have been linked with making a move for Chiesa for several years now but the report claims that signing Chiesa is no longer in the plans of the Nerazzurri club.

With Inter having pulled out of the race to sign Chiesa, the report states that that leaves only Juventus as being interested in the highly rated Italian national team winger, who is widely regarded as one of the best young Italian players out there at the moment.

22-year-old Chiesa has spent the entirety of his career on the books of La Viola thus far and he still has just under two years left to run on his current deal with the club.

In the recently concluded 2019/20 season, Chiesa made 37 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored 11 goals and provided nine assists for his teammates.
