Cristiano Biraghi’s agent Mario Giuffredi has revealed that his client would gladly return to Fiorentina if an agreement cannot be found for him to remain at Inter.

Biraghi spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Inter and as part of him being loaned to Inter, Dalbert headed in the opposite direction on loan.

A renewal of the loans seemed a certainty weeks ago but recent reports have stated that that is no longer the case with Fiorentina seemingly not convinced by Dalbert.

“The two clubs have not reached an agreement, we are waiting,” Giuffredi remarked in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Punto Nuovo earlier on today.

Giuffredi then went on to state that should his client return to La Viola a new contract would be required as Biraghi has grown as a player compared to when he signed the deal he has with them.

“There is a contractual problem with La Viola. The boy has a contract signed three years ago when he had a completely different value to that of today. Cristiano would gladly return to Fiorentina, however, a player of his level cannot remain with a similar contract.”

During the recent season, Biraghi made 37 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored three goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
