Inter Coach Antonio Conte Wants To Offer Borja Valero 1 Year Contract Extension Italian Media Reports

Borja Valero could be handed a one year contract extension by Inter as requested by coach Antonio Conte, according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The veteran Spanish midfielder’s current contract with the club is due to expire in just four days time and over the coming days Inter will make a decision on his future with the club.

The former Fiorentina player’s contract could be extended by one year due to the fact he has convinced Inter manager Antonio Conte with his professionalism and ability to play in multiple roles in the midfield.

Valero joined Inter for a small fee back in the Summer of 2017 from fellow Serie A club Fiorentina. Since his arrival at the club, the 35-year-old, who can count West Bromwich Albion and Villarreal, among others among his former employers, has made 100 appearances across all competitions to date.

In his time on the park, Valero has scored a total of five goals.
