Inter have identified Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla as the possible replacement for Milan Skriniar according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Slovakian national team player Skriniar has been heavily linked with a possible move away from Inter with him having been linked to the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur lately.

Many reports have stated Inter could sacrifice him in order to raise all important funds for the transfer window. If Skriniar goes on to leave Inter, 20-year-old Kumbulla will be the player who replaces him. Despite Inter’s move for Kumbulla being on stand-by and dependent on Skriniar leaving, they remain in pole position to sign the Albanian.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter are continuing to look for a fourth choice striker.

Inter manager Antonio Conte would like Roma captain Edin Dzeko signed to complete the attack and the report concludes that Andrea Pinamonti returning to Inter to fulfil the fourth striker role cannot be ruled out as Inter have a gentleman’s agreement with Genoa.
