Barcelona are refusing to give up in their pursuit of Inter striker Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The Catalonia based club have been courting the Argentine national team player for a considerable amount of time and consider him the ideal player to relaunch their team but for now the Blaugrana side must deal with the Lionel Messi situation after he expressed his desire to leave the club.
Should Messi go on to leave the club, the report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to state that a move to Barcelona would certainly become less attractive to Lautaro.
Lautaro, who scored 21 goals last season, is still under contract with Inter until 2023 and various reports in the media have stated that Inter could well give him a new and improved contract if he is to remain with the club.
