Inter have approached Roma today with a new idea for a payment solution as they look to reach an agreement over Aleksandar Kolarov according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to the report goes on Inter propose Roma to have a first option on signing an unnamed Inter youth player instead of paying a transfer fee, although the latter option is still on the table.

Inter, Roma and Kolarov’s newly appointed agent Alessandro Lucci, will meet today for talks to discuss the possible compensation Inter will give Roma for Kolarov seeing as he will not leave them for nothing.

As per the report, which appeared on Di Marzio’s self named website, Inter and manager Antonio Conte have chosen the Serbian as their main target for the left hand side of the defence.

The soon to be 35-year-old has already said yes to a proposed move to the Nerazzurri club and all parties are at work trying to find a solution which satisfies everyone.
