Inter wing-back Ashley Young has taken to social media platform Twitter to wish former teammate Daley Blind well after he collapsed in Ajax’s friendly against Hertha Berlin on Wednesday night.

The Dutchman, who Young played alongside at Manchester United, was fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator after a heart issue was detected a few months back and it is understood that it stopped which led to Blind collapsing without anyone around him near the end of the match.

Thankfully Blind was able to get up and walk off the pitch and Young posted: “Best wishes to one of the nicest men in football, hope you’re ok bro.”
