Roma have developed an interest in signing Cristiano Biraghi as they look to overhaul their full back department in the transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Alessandro Florenzi and Rick Karsdorp are both expected to leave the club with Florenzi have no shortage of interest in his services with Everton, Atalanta, Fiorentina and Sevilla all understood to be interested.

Leonardo Spinazzola is likely to become the only left back or left wing-back at the club and for this reason Roma have taken a liking to Biraghi, who is currently on loan at Inter from fellow Serie A club Fiorentina until the end of this month.

Biraghi’s future is currently uncertain. Weeks ago he looked certain to remain on loan at Inter with report stating Inter and Fiorentina would renew the loans of Biraghi and Dalbert but now that does not look like it will happen. Some recent reports have however suggested that Inter could pursue Biraghi on a permanent basis.
