Torino president Urbano Cairo has confirmed that club captain Andrea Belotti will not be leaving the club in the transfer window whilst refusing to rule out the possibility of Armando Izzo departing the club.

Both Belotti and Izzo have been linked with Inter in recent weeks and months, especially Izzo, who Inter manager Antonio Conte is understood to be a big fan of and thinks he would be an ideal addition for his three man defence.

“We’ll keep Belotti. It’s not up for discussion,” Cairo told Italian daily newspaper La Stampa with regard to Belotti’s future with the Granata, who he has scored 92 goals for in 192 games across all competitions to date.

As for Izzo’s future, Cairo admitted, “Let’s see, to be honest, he has many requests. If someone leaves, we will know how to replace them.”

Multiple reports in the media have suggested that Izzo is destined to leave Torino in the not so distant future with one report suggesting he could be signed for as little as just €12.5 million, which is half of what Torino were previously demanding for him.
