Inter are looking for a fourth forward to complete their attack, with Almeria striker Darwin Nunez being closely monitored by the Nerazzurri, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sportitalia earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are looking to give coach Antonio Conte multiple attacking options next season and want to sign a fourth forward to replace Italian teenager Sebastiano Esposito, who will be sent out on loan next season in order to gain experience. Whilst the club are looking to sign experienced veterans in other departments, like Aleksandar Kolarov and Arturo Vidal, Nunez would be a younger signing with more potential.

The 21-year-old Uruguayan forward is contracted to second tier Spanish side Almeria until 2024, the report continues, and is also being closely followed by Portuguese side Benfica. Nunez made 32 appearances across all competitions last season for the Spanish club, for a total of 2612 minutes. In that time, he scored 16 goals and provided three assists.
