Inter target Aleksandar Kolarov may have just completed his last training session with Roma, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the 34-year-old Serbian left back is only one step away from joining the Nerazzurri, on a two-year contract. The Milanese club are looking for an experienced veteran for the left wing back role, who is also comfortable playing as a left sided centre back to play backup for Italian youngster Alessandro Bastoni.

The two clubs only disagree about a small detail in the price, the report continues, and a final agreement is close to being found. The former Manchester City left back now seems all but destined to head to Milan, with only the last remaining details causing issue. Signing the player marks a clear departure from the previously stated transfer goal of signing young talents like Marash Kumbulla, and instead seems to fit Conte’s vision of proven winners.
