Italian football journalist and Italian broadcaster TeleLombardia director Fabio Ravezzani has shared his reservations about Inter’s transfer market strategy which appears to be signed older more experienced players.

Inter have been linked with a whole array of young players from Brescia’s Sandro Tonali to Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla but recent reports in the media have stated that the Nerazzurri club are really keen on adding the likes of Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal and Roma duo Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolarov to their ranks.

Inter hope to be able to bring Vidal to the club on a free transfer to bolster the midfield. They are understood to see Dzeko as a player who could complete their attack and Kolarov as a player who can bolster the left hand side of the defence due to his ability to play wing-back and centre back.

Ravezzani took to social media platform Twitter to share his thoughts on Inter’s report strategy compared to that of rivals Juventus and AC Milan.

He posted: “I have not the faintest idea of what McKennie is like but I believe in clubs that invest in young players who are developing, even if they make mistakes.

“This is why, just like my friend Bettino Calcaterra I wouldn’t understand why Inter are signing trio Vidal-Dzeko-Kolarov. Just like I don’t understand an AC Milan made up solely of young players.”
