A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera has detailed how Inter have changed their transfer market strategy, following on from the meeting with coach Antonio Conte.

The report details how the 51-year-old Italian coach met with the club’s board and president Steven Zhang on Tuesday this week to discuss transfer market objectives and his future with the club. His position as head coach was confirmed after the meeting, with the transfer market strategy seemingly changing alongside that confirmation.

Moving away from signing young talents like Marash Kumbulla and Sandro Tonali, Inter are now looking to sign more experienced players as they are looking to win next season, believing that the veteran winners may make the difference in the race against Juventus for the league title. Roma’s Aleksandar Kolarov and Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal are two examples of this strategy, as the club look to secure both players.
