Inter have slowed down in the race to sign three players who they have linked with all summer, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are no longer prioritizing signing Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, who has also heavily wanted by rivals AC Milan, due to other transfer targets taking centre stage.

With regards to the Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla, a deal worth more than €30 million was reached with the Gialloblu, but the Nerazzurri are now looking to sign Roma veteran Aleksander Kolarov instead.

The final player that has long been linked with Inter but may not arrive this summer is Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri, the report continues. The Blues have wanted over €20 million for the player’s signature, a price that the Nerazzurri aren’t willing to pay when an alternative like Kolarov would only cost around €2 million.
