Inter are focusing on clearing out their unneeded players in order to make space in the squad and fund investments, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri will say goodbye to 35-year-old Spanish midfielder Borja Valero next week on Tuesday, after the player’s contract expires with the club.

To generate funds for future deals, the Milanese club are looking to sell Joao Mario and will evaluate an offer from Benfica over the next few days, and also Ivan Perisic, who is likely to finally join Bayern Munich.

Other players that are likely to be sold in order to make other investments include Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar, the report continues.

The 27-year-old Croat could end up in Germany as well, whilst the Slovak is more likely to head to the Premier League. Radja Nainggolan will also have to find a new home.
