Inter may look to sell five midfielders this summer in order to make space for new signings and provide funds for further investments, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how Marcelo Brozovic, Matias Vecino, Radja Nainggolan, Roberto Gagliardini and Joao Mario could all be sold this transfer window, with coach Antonio Conte looking to overhaul the midfield to better prepare the squad for next season’s title race with Juventus. Borja Valero will leave tomorrow on a free transfer after his contract expires with the club.

Conte wants to sign at least two midfielders, the report continues, with the top picks being Arturo Vidal and either N’Golo Kante or Tanguy Ndombele.

Brozovic would likely earn the Nerazzurri the highest amount from the five, but is also the most appreciated by the 51-year-old Italian coach, despite some recent off-the-pitch issues, and he could still be sold for around €40 million.
