Aleksandar Kolarov should agree a move to Inter in the coming hours according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Inter and Roma have agreed a deal between them worth a total of €1.5 million and Inter now need to agree terms with Kolarov who is understood to be open to completing a switch to the Nerazzurri.
The 34-year-old Serbian defender is seeking a two year contract but Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is adamant that Kolarov is only given a one year contract with at most an option to a second year.
The report from the Rome based news outlet explains that Kolarov’s resistance is fading and an agreeement could therefore be reached in a few hours time.
The report also adds that Inter manager Antonio Conte is expecting Kolarov to be present next Monday when Inter begin their pre-season preparations for the fast approaching 2020/21 season.
