Achraf Hakimi will be at Inter’s training ground on Wednesday or Thursday to begin his preparations for the fast approaching 2020/21 season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter signed the Moroccan national team player for a sum of €45 million including add-ons from Real Madrid earlier this Summer and after a long vacation, Hakimi is ready to start his Inter adventure.

On either Wednesday or Thursday he will present himself at the Suning Training Centre in memory of Angelo Moratti and he will carry out some training alongside Inter players who will have returned from loans elsewhere.

Hakimi is the one and only signing that Inter have made at first team level ahead of the coming season and he is expected to cement himself as the club’s starting right wing-back in manager Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system.

The 21-year-old spent the past two seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund and last season he scored nine goals and tallied 10 assists in 45 appearances.
