Due to the advanced status of negotiations to sign Roma’s Aleksandar Kolarov, Inter have put negotiations with Hellas Verona over Marash Kumbulla on standby according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Inter are working to bring Kolarov to the club and negotiations are at the final details stage. An agreement has already been reached between the two clubs and all that remains is for Inter and Kolarov to come to an agreement over personal terms.

Kolarov is seeking a two year contract from the Nerazzurri club but Inter want to sign the Serbian national team defender to a one year deal with an option to a second year which will be triggered once a set amount of appearances have been made.

In the recently concluded 2019/20 season, 34-year-old Kolarov made 42 appearances across all competitions in which he scored seven goals and provided a total of five assists for his teammates.
