Inter could rekindle their interest in signing Edin Dzeko according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Roma captain has been linked with Inter for some time now with Inter manager Antonio Conte understood to deem the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player as the perfect player for his style of play.

As things stand, Juventus are currently in the lead in the race to sign the 34-year-old with them having ongoing contact with both Dzeko’s representatives and Roma managament.

The report goes on to explain that with Juventus making an attempt to sign Luis Suarez, who appears set to leave Barcelona on a free transfer, Inter could suddenly rekindle their interest in Dzeko if Juventus do not follow through with signing him.

During the recently concluded 2019/20 season, Dzeko made 43 appearances across all competitions. In just over 3500 minutes on the field, former Manchester City player Dzeko scored 19 goals and provided 14 assists for his teammates.
