Inter could use one of their own players to fulfil the fourth choice striker role and complete the attack according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Whilst Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is remaining vigilant on the transfer market in case any opportunities arise, Inter could ultimately find out that their fourth choice striker is already on the club’s books.

Sebastiano Esposito and Eddie Salcedo are both are the top of the list and although both very young, both have shown themselves to be capable of playing at Serie A level. It will be down to Inter manager Antonio Conte to decide.

The report goes on to state that in the event Inter opt to go to with a more experienced head for the fourth choice striker role, Esposito and Salcedo could both be loaned out with several clubs having already knocked on the door and asked Inter about each of the Italian youth national team representatives.
