Negotiations between Inter and Aleksandar Kolarov over contract terms are ongoing according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Inter have reached an agreement with Roma over the versatile Serbian defender on the basis of a €1.5 million deal and the Nerazzurri club are in the process of trying to agree terms with the former Manchester City player.

The report explains that Kolarov would like a two year contract from Inter whilst Inter wish to give him a one year contract with an option to a second year which will be triggered by certain conditions being met, such as a set number of appearances in the coming season.

During the recently concluded 2019/20 season, free-kick specialist Kolarov made 42 appearances across all competitions. In just over 3500 minutes on the park, Kolarov scored seven goals and provided a total of five assists for his teammates at the Giallorossi club.
