Inter are prepared to listen to offers for attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Giornale.

Eriksen only joined Inter on a four and a half year deal back in January from Tottenham Hotspur but the circa €20 million signing has struggled to perform to expectations and found himself fall behind the likes of Borja Valero and Roberto Gagliardini in the pecking order at the end of the season.

Despite performing poorly since his arrival in Milan, Eriksen remains the player with the most appeal amongst the big name clubs. Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid both courted him before his Inter move and the report concludes that Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta will hold negotiations when a first real offer arrives for him.

During his time with Inter thus far, Eriksen has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he scored four goals and tallied three assists.
