N’Golo Kante joining Inter is now a possibility according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

By raising funds through the sales of players, Inter will be able to meet Chelsea’s €50 million asking price for the French national team player, a price which has been approved by Chelsea manager Frank Lampard, who is willing to let Kante leave.

Inter could sell Marcelo Brozovic or Milan Skriniar and their sale alone would give Inter the funds to pursue a move for Kante.

Diego Godin, Matias Vecino, Ivan Perisic, Radja Nainggolan, Joao Mario and Dalbert could all be sold and their sales combined could enable Inter to afford a move for 2018 World Cup winner Kante.

During the recently concluded 2019/20 season, Kante made 28 appearances across all competitions. In just over 2300 minutes, the former Leicester City player failed to score any goals but did provide his teammates with three assists.
