Ex-Inter Coach Orrico: “Vidal Can Satisfy Conte, I’d Play Nainggolan In Front Of The Defence”

Former Inter coach Corrado Orrico has shared his belief that Arturo Vidal and Radja Nainggolan could co-exist at Inter together.

Vidal is largely expected to arrive at Inter once he agrees to a contract termination with Barcelona with many reports stating that the Chilean national team player has already agreed personal terms with Inter.

Nainggolan on the other hand has just returned to Inter following a season long loan spell with Serie A side Cagliari and whilst most reports are in agreement that Nainggolan will be moved on, some have stated he could potentially be reintegrated.

“Vidal, as an attacking midfielder, can do things that satisfy Conte at a competitive level. Then I would put Nainggolan in front of the defence to attack the opponents with competitive anger. They would be two psychologically very high value moves,” Orrico explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia yesterday afternoon.

Orrico had a short spell in charge of Inter in the 1991/92 season but he did not last long due to making a poor start in the league and being eliminated by Boavista in the UEFA Cup in the early rounds of the competition.
