Inter Take Foot Off Gas In Race To Sign Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla Italian Media Report

Inter have slightly relaxed in their pursuit of Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere di Verona.

Inter have been courting Kumbulla for some time now and have reportedly fended off competition from Lazio, who have now seemingly relinquished their interest but this report explains that Inter have slightly relaxed, although it does not give an exact reason as to why this is the case.

The report from the Veronese news outlet also goes on to claim that Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur have developed a strong interest in signing the highly rated Italian born Albanian national team player too.

During the recently concluded 2019/20 season, Kumbulla made his first team breakthrough at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi club. The 20-year-old, who is contracted to the Gialloblu outfit until 2022, made 26 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored a single goal.
