If Arturo Vidal joins Inter, they will drop their interest in signing Tanguy Ndombele according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.

Vidal is in the process of terminating his contract with current employers Barcelona and everything points towards a happy ending in that he will succeed in terminating his contract and then join Inter on a free transfer with Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta ready to satisfy Inter manager Antonio Conte by bringing Vidal to the club.

The report goes on to explain that Inter will drop their interest in Ndombele if Vidal goes on to join, which it looks like he will, and this comes just when Tottenham Hotspur have opened up to the idea of selling their most expensive player in club history, who failed to live up to expectations in his first season with the club following his arrival from Lyon.
