In order to make an offer for Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, Inter must make a sale to raise funds according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Giorno.

Kante will certainly not come cheap for Inter and reaching a deal for him will be complicated but there are currently two players who Inter could sell who could raise the funds which would allow Inter to make a move for the tireless Frenchman.

The first player is Milan Skriniar. Paris Saint-Germain have already offered €50 million for the Slovakian national team player but Inter want €65 million for him, the same amount that they will need to pay Chelsea to sign Kante.

The second player is Marcelo Brozovic, who is subject to interest from Bayern Munich although the report from the Milan based news outlet explains that it will be easier for Inter and Bayern Munich to agree a deal over Ivan Perisic, who spent the 2019/20 season out on loan at the Bavaria based club.

Whilst Perisic could not bring in the same funds that Skriniar or Brozovic could, funds raised through his sale would nevertheless help Inter in their bid to sign Kante.
