Inter are not alone in having an interest in signing Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report from the Milan based news outlet explains that Atalanta and Roma have both developed an interest in signing the promisng Italian national team goalkeeper.

When it comes to Atalanta, Meret wishes to understand whether he will be the outright starter or constantly in competitiong with Pierluigi Gollini.

Roma are interested in Gollini in addition to Meret as they look to improve in between the sticks. A deal for Meret could be just one of many that Roma and Napoli do with the report adding that Arek Milik, Nikola Maksimovic, Cengiz Under and Jordan Veretout could all move between the clubs.

Reports elsewhere in the media have stated that Inter have identified Meret as the long term replacement for Samir Handanovic and one report has even suggested Inter already have a deal in place with Napoli to sign Meret next Summer.
