Fiorentina general director Joe Barone has confirmed that for the time being Cristiano Biraghi and Dalbert will be returning to their parent clubs in Fiorentina and Inter respectively.

Ahead of the 2019/20 season, the two clubs agreed a loan swap deal which saw Biraghi loaned to Inter from Fiorentina and Dalbert loaned to Fiorentina from Inter.

Various reports in recent weeks suggested that it was pretty much a certainty that the loans of the Italian and Brazilian wing-backs would be extended but it has yet to transpire and remains to be seen whether it actually will happen.

Biraghi has been linked with a potential move to Roma whilst Istanbul Basaksehir have reportedly made an offer to Inter for Dalbert, who has failed to live up to expectations in his time with the Nerazzurri.

“Biraghi and Dalbert? Both at home, one returns to Fiorentina and the other to Inter,” Barone told Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, who posted the short clip of him saying it to their official Twitter feed.
