Italian Media Claim Genoa Interested In Re-Signing Inter’s Andrea Ranocchia

Genoa are interested in signing Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter and Genoa are already working on finding an agreement over the Italian centre back, who Genoa are trying to reach an agreement with over personal terms.

Ranocchia has just under one year left on his contract with Inter and the report from the Milan based news outlet explains that the good relations between Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and new Genoa director Daniele Faggiano could help a great deal in an agreement being reached.

During the recently concluded 2019/20 season, Ranocchia found playing time extremely limited. He was limited to just 12 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored one goal. He also proved to be a real lucky charm for the Nerazzurri club as they never lost when he played, with them winning nine and drawing the other three.
