Inter made an enquiry for Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa around a month ago according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Prior to Inter president Steven Zhang and club management meeting with Antonio Conte to discuss his future, Inter enquired about Chiesa, Di Marzio reported during his show ‘Calciomercato – L’Originale’ late last night.

Fiorentina responded to Inter’s enquiry with La Viola’s president Rocco Commisso asking for €90 million from Inter for the highly rated Italian national team winger, who is one of the most promising Italian players out there at the moment.

The evaluation could well drop to €70 milllion but regardless it is a very high asking price which currently makes it difficult to foresee Chiesa leaving Fiorentina for a new club.

In the 2019/20 season, the 22-year-old made 37 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored 11 goals and provided a total of nine assists for his teammates.
