Inter could go back in for Roma captain Edin Dzeko according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter showed an interest in Dzeko last Summer and have also shown an interest in him more recently but are understood to have cooled their interest.

Inter could however increase their interest in the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player again, especially if Juventus go on to sign Barcelona striker Luis Suarez.

Reigning Serie A champions Juventus have also shown an interest in signing Dzeko but should they sign Suarez, it can be presumed that they would not continue to pursue Dzeko, who Inter manager Antonio Conte thinks is the perfect player to be the back-up to Romelu Lukaku.

During the 2019/20 season, the 34-year-old former Manchester City striker made 43 appearances across all competitions. In just over 3500 minutes on the field, Dzeko scored 19 goals and provided 14 assists for his teammates.
