Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has not been discouraged by Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio’s recent comments on Milan Skriniar according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

For several weeks it has been suggested that Inter could sell Skriniar in order to raise funds for the transfer window but in a recent interview Ausilio shot down the rumours and insisted that the Slovakian player will not be leaving and will stay with Inter.

Despite this Leonardo will seemingly not give up in his pursuit of Skriniar, who he has identified as the replacement for the recently departed Thiago Silva, who has joined Chelsea.

Paris Saint-Germain are yet to make an official offer for Skriniar but from next week they could make the first offer for the 25-year-old.

The report explains that it will take a bid of at least €50 million for Inter to consider sitting around the negotiating table, even if at this moment Inter deem Skriniar to be non-transferable.
