Inter manager Antonio Conte and Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal are destined to be reunited with one another according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
A few weeks ago Barcelona were adamant that they would not let the Chilean go unless they receieved an offer of between €10-15 million but Vidal is now set to terminate his contract with the Blaugrana club.
Inter are in no hurry for him terminate and join, even if they would obviosuly like to get a deal done over the weekend if possible so he can begin pre-season training with the rest of the Inter squad on Monday.
Inter and Vidal have agreed a two year contract with an option to a third year which comes with an annual salary of €6 million.
The report goes on to explain that once Vidal is signed, Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta will focus on sales in order to raise funds for a new left-wing back, Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante and a back-up to Romelu Lukaku.
