Legendary former Inter attacker Ruben Sosa has sang the praises of Arturo Vidal and shared his belied that he could do very well at Inter.

Vidal is largely expected to join Inter with many reports having stated that a two year contract with an option to a third year has been agreed in principle between Inter and the Chilean national team player.

The 33-year-old has been linked with a move to Inter ever since Antonio Conte took charge of the club and it appears that Inter are on the verge of finally bringing him to the club.

“Despite being Chileal, Vidal is like an Uruguayan due to the characteristics he has. On the pitch he gives his all to win,” Sosa explained in an interview with Italian news outlet Footballnews24.it.

“Arturo has already worn important jerseys in his career like Juventus and Barcelona and in the middle of the field he is literally a beast. He knows how to carry the ball and he is a leader. If he were to arrive at the Nerazzurri, I am sure he would do very well as he always does.”

Sosa spent a three year period with Inter between the years of 1992 and 1995. In his spell with the club he made 104 appearances across all competitions and scored a very credible 50 goals and tallied 11 assists too. During his time with the club he won a single trophy, the UEFA Cup, in the 1993/94 season.
