Inter central defender Andrea Ranocchia is on the radar of Genoa according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Ranocchia has been with Inter since January 2011 and has just under a year remaining on his current contract with the club although given Genoa’s interest he may not see out those final few months.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to claim that Borja Valero is also a target of theirs. The Spaniard left Inter at the end of last month when his contract expired and the Grifone are not the only club to have an interest in signing him.

Genoa, as per this report, face competition from Real Betis, Parma and Hellas Verona for the signature of the veteran midfielder, who made 100 appearances for Inter in the past three years, in which he scored a total of five goals.
