Inter are hoping to be able to complete the signing of Arturo Vidal over the weekend according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

His agent Fernando Felicevich has been hard at work trying to get his client reunited with Inter manager Antonio Conte and his working has beared fruit with Barcelona now open to letting Vidal terminate his contract.

Vidal will lose out on money due to terminating his contract but is due to sign a two year contract with Inter worth €6 million a year.

Conte would like to have Vidal available to him for pre-season training starting on Monday but if not he will only have to wait a few days at most.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to claim that Conte has already been in contact with the Chilean and told him of his plans for him. Vidal welcomed the call from Conte and guaranteed the ex-Italy manager enthusiasm, commitment and total availability.
