Former Inter striker Christian Vieri has revealed that his fantasy football line-up will have a five man strong Inter contingent in it ahead of the 2020/21 Serie A season beginning in the coming weeks.

In an interview with Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, which appeared in yesterday’s print edition, Vieri explained why he would be selecting Romelu Lukaku as one of his strikers.

“He is a force of nature, he reminds me of myself,” he explained.

Inter new boy Achraf Hakimi and Ashley Young will occupy the full back slots in his team and he will also have Inter midfielders Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella in his side.

Speaking on his decision to put Sensi in his side, the former Italian national team player explained: “Sensi had a great start and I expect that he will not be forced to stop playing continuously [due to injury] like he did in 2019-20.”

Vieri spent six years with Inter between 1999 and 2005 and he is one of the best strikers to have ever played for Inter. In 190 appearances across all competitions for the club, Vieri scored a highly impressive 122 goals.
