Inter will only look to sign Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante should the club manage to sell Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the club would be willing to sell the 28-year-old Dane, who joined from Premier League side Tottenham in January of this year for around €20 million. The player struggled to settle in his first half-season in Italy and didn’t particularly impress coach Antonio Conte or the fans. Whilst there have been no offers for the player, there are plenty of admirers around Europe.

Conte is keen to sign Chelsea’s Kante, the report continues, but due to his high price the Milanese side won’t look to purchase the player unless they sell the former Spurs midfielder. Eriksen is facing a lot of competition in midfield and will need to impress if he wants to continue his adventure in Milan.
