Fiorentina coach Beppe Iachini wants two options for the left back role and is considering sending former Inter wing back Cristiano Biraghi to Roma in exchange for Leonardo Spinazzola, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Repubblica.

The report details how the Viola met with Inter to discuss renewing the two loan deals that were completed last summer, that saw Dalbert leave Milan for Florence, with Biraghi moving the other way. The first meeting failed to result in a successful conclusion, leaving Fiorentina to consider other options, although further talks are expected. The Florence based club wanted to keep both the Italian and Dalbert.

One idea would see Biraghi move to Roma in exchange for Spinazzola, the report continues. It wouldn’t be an easy deal to complete, especially considering that the Viola will first need to confirm Dalbert’s stay in Florence. Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte was impressed enough with Biraghi this season to hope for his return for next campaign.
