Inter will sign Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal after completing the deal for Roma full back Aleksandar Kolarov, according to a report from Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are looking to close out the deal for the 34-year-old Serbian left back as soon as possible. The player will be able to play as both a left wing back and a left sided centre back, giving coach Antonio Conte multiple options in regard to squad rotation. Following on from this deal, the club will then sign Vidal from Barcelona. The Chilean is currently working to leave the Blaugrana on a free transfer.

Inter’s market dream is Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, the report continues, but first the Nerazzurri will need to sell a few players in order to generate the necessary funds. Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan won’t be reintegrated into the squad and will be sold, although the main thing stopping a return to Cagliari are his high wages. Finally, there are no offers from Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar, although French champions Paris Saint-Germain may soon come forward with an offer.
