Inter have no interest in loaning out Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan and so the player could remain in coach Antonio Conte’s squad should no offers arrive, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how the 32-year-old Belgian was sent out on loan to former club Cagliari last season after the arrival of Conte, where the player impressed. He quickly received the captain’s armband and became a core part of the squad, but the Rossoblu cannot afford to sign him due to both his cost and his high wages.
Inter declined loan offers from both Cagliari and Galatasaray for Nainggolan, the report continues, and so the player could return to Milan. Both the Belgian and Conte have reiterated that they are willing to work together and the former Roma midfielder could be the player missing in Conte’s midfield, especially if Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante doesn’t arrive in this window.
