The Inter squad who are not currently with their national teams will undergo Coronavirus tests tomorrow at the training ground in Appiano Gentile ahead of a return to training on Tuesday, according to a report from Italian media outlet PassioneInter.com earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri’s season finished less than a month ago, with their Europa League final loss to Sevilla, and already next week the new season will begin. The squad players who were not called up to join their national teams for the Nations League will undergo Coronavirus tests tomorrow, as well as the usual medicals, ahead of a return to training on Tuesday.

The remaining squad players who are away will return on Thursday, the report continues, when full squad training will resume. The Milanese club’s season opener is against Fiorentina on the 26th September in Milan, a week after their peers due to their late season finish.
