Inter’s full squad will return to training on Thursday next week, ahead of the start of the season on the 26th September, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how the Nerazzurri players not called up by their national team will head to Appiano Gentile tomorrow to take Coronavirus tests, ahead of a first training session on Tuesday. On Wednesday the national teams will subject their squads to the medical tests as well, with the full squad set to be at coach Antonio Conte’s disposal on Thursday.
With the full squad back in Milan, Conte will begin pre-season preparations, the report continues, and it’s likely that multiple friendly games will be scheduled between then and the 26th September, Inter’s season opener against Fiorentina. The Milanese club’s season will start a week less than their peers due to their progress in the Europa League last season.
