Hellas Verona president Maurizio Setti has revealed that the club have receieved many offers from clubs for highly rated defender Marash Kumbulla.

The Italian born Albanian national team player has been linked to a whole array of clubs for several months now with Inter and Lazio in particular having been heavily linked with possibly making moves for him.

A number of reports in the media have stated that Kumbulla has shown a preference to move to Inter but it is unclear whether Inter are one of the clubs to have made an offer for him or not.

“We have many offers, all from top-tier clubs,” Setti explained in an interview with Italian daily newspaper Il Giorno, which appeared in today’s print edition.

“We have always believed in Kumbulla and we rejected really important offers when he was in the Primavera. His mentality is on the level of the top 10 clubs in the world.”

Kumbulla had his first team breakthrough during the 2019/20 season as he made 26 appearances across all competitions. The 20-year-old, who is contracted to Hellas Verona until 2022, scored a single goal in just under 2100 minutes in total on the park.
